Saw Taylor Swift in SYDNEY and it was a fairytale

So here's how the story went...
I was sitting in my room studying for my final senior exams November 23rd 2009... I began to procrastinate and whilst online saw that Taylor was going to Australia for a mini tour in February. So whilst studying the idea of going and how crazy it would be played with my mind until I finally thought of course I can go I can save up right! To the disbelief of my parents and friends my crazy plan only got better when I texted my friend Rach at midnight saying "Dude I totally wanna see Swifty in Australia, would u like to come with" . I turned my phone off thinking she wouldn't reply til the next morning, but she immediately replied saying 'OMG soooo keen!'

So the next step was getting tickets, our other mate Amy wanted to come too and we booked the tickets online and a few weeks later our accomodation.

I WAS SO EXCITED :)

January came around very fast and before we knew it, we were booking our fights which was the final step to getting to Swifty :)

February 6th 2010....We arrived after a 3hour bumpyflight in a very rainy Sydney Australia. It was the worst weekend weatherwise they had seen in months. But did I care? NO , I was here for one reason- a curly blonde amazing singer songwriter ..and my idol Taylor Swift :)
We had a look around the city and got drenched in Darling Harbour, like seriously my hair was dripping it was insane. And we found out later that Tay was there like the same time we were in Darling Harbour. GASP if I'd have known that Iwould have raced to find her :D

February 7th 2010 was one of the best nights of my life, despite being a little travelsick I was going to see the Grammy winning awesomeness that is well Taylormade :)
We went to the arena at 4pm to line up, we bought tshirts and programmes and waited until thedoors opened and we were released...in other words..RACE TIME haha however we were well controlled by the security guys, kudos to them for dealing with thousands of ecstatic girls, I think telling us We'd be kicked out for running worked pretty well...

So when we got in I managed to sneak a spot right on the corner of the stage and was in shock at how freaking close we were (I'm usually wayyyyyyyyyyyy at the back for concerts). The fact that I had got lucky at my favourite singer's show was awesome :).
Gloriana were an amazing opening act I have to say they are gonna be big. The song 'Wild at heart' was soooo cool.
But I've got to admit NOTHING compared to when the curtain came up and I saw Swifty in her band outfit belting out the words to 'You belong with me' WOW
Her dancers ripped off the band outfit to reveal a cool sparkly dress and she thanked us for teaching her that she isn't the only one who burns her ex bf's pictures and still believes in love stories..and most importantly that "my band and I can get on a 15 hour flight , and whenwe land we can still feel like we're home, I love you Sydney, Australia"
I was like an excited child, in awe of who was on that stage in front of me singing along just about every word to every. single. song. :)
The highlights were her crowd interaction, awesome costume changes, AMAZING vocals and songs and her sheer prescence :)
After it I just couldn't believe I'd seen her, it was a moment I never thought would happen in my life. So now I have a new mission... to get her t New Zealand and to meet her :) my life would be complete like seriously I'm her biggest NZ fan have the CD's, posters, programme, tshirt, Dvd , I even know some of her songs on guitar, my friends can vouch for me :)

So I hear declare mission 1.1 as Taylor noticing my blog that would be amazing in itself, so here goes :)
